The easiest way to find out about buses, ferries and trains in Auckland is to phone rideline™; on 366 6400. rideline™; is a free telephone enquiry service which operates 7.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 6.30pm Sunday and Public holidays.

Better Bus Services for Howick and Pakuranga
Sunday Connector buses to Botany Do wns Centre, more express services between Howick and Auckland City during the day, and a greater frequency of regular services to Auckland city are all due to start on 1 July.
The boost in bus services, run by Howick and Eastern Buses, are funded by the Auckland Regional Council for two years, with generous funding assistance through the Government’s Kick-Start funding scheme.
New service details:
Express – M-F: 8.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am Howick to CBD via waterfront and up Symonds St M-F: 12.15pm, 1.40pm, 2.40pm from CBD to Howick via Symonds St and Southern Motorway
Regular all-stops via Ellerslie-Panmure Highway and Great South Road – M-F: 7am, 9am Howick to CBD M-F: 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm CBD to Howick
Connector – trips start from Burswood, go via Golflands, Highland Park, Mellons Bay, Howick Village, Meadowlands, East Tamaki in peak, Botany Downs M-F: Now 30 minute frequency between 9.15am to 3.15pm (was 45 minutes) (first service leaves Burswood at 7am, last one leaves Burswood at 6.15pm) Saturday: as before: starting 7am, last from 6pm, every 45 minutes Sunday: all new: starting 7.45am to last start at 5pm, every 45 minutes
