Regional Botanic Gardens
(64 hectares)

Regional Botanic Gardens
These gardens are for both education and enjoyment. Comprehensive collections of ornamental plants have been established to help people with selections for their own gardens.

Displays of native and introduced plants are extensive, and have raised international interest.

Guided rambles are held on the first Sunday every month, with group tours available by prior arrangement.

The gardens are open from 9am to dusk daily. Located adjacent to the southern motorway, access is via the Manurewa off-ramp and eastward along Hill Road.
