Ocean and Orchard Wine and Food Festival 2012
from 1pm – 8pm Kerikeri Domain, Kerikeri. The Ocean & Orchard Wine and Food Festival is a celebration and collaboration of fabulous local food, gourmet cuisine, boutique wines, bountiful seafood, culture and entertainment, all unique to the Bay of Islands.
The Festival has something for everyone including a continuous line up of talented musicians, culinary and quirky competitions, stomping of the grapes, children’s entertainment and much, much more.

Kaikohe Community Arts Council has great pleasure in welcoming Tony Backhouse to Kaikohe. Tony is a world famous vocal coach, singer and composer who has been influential in the revival of a capella singing, particularly in gospel music. ART in the PARK- Childrens Day 2012
Pack your family a Picnic Lunch, Come along to Memorial Park KAIKOHE (aka Skate Park) from 11.30am -1.30pm. And Celebrate Childrens Day 2012 "Love and Affection". Children and parents can all join in to paint a community mural, get your face painted or unicycle with Christian Huriwai. BDO Twin Coast Cycle Challenge
BDO Twin Coast Cycle Challenge Whangarei, Dargaville, Opononi, Paihia, Whangarei 15-18 March 2012, 8:00am Four Days, Two Coasts, 360km of cycling for the beginner to the advance cyclist. The event will follow Northland’s fully sealed Twin Coast Discovery Highway which touches New Zealand’s essence: natural environment, amazing scenery, fishing, diving, walks, culture and heritage, golf, food, wine and people. FNDC Mayoral Cycle Ride - Okaihau to Kaikohe
On Sunday 18 March Mayor Brown invites you to attend the FNDC Mayoral Cycle Ride along Pou Herenga Tai - Twin Coast Cycle Trail. The bike ride will start at 10:00 am from Two Ponga Park (Okaihau) and finish in Kaikohe at the Mid-North Motor Inn. Parking and registrations will be available at the Okaihau Rugby Club from 8:30 am onwards.

Follow in the footsteps of our early settlers as competitors run, cycle and run their way across Northland. From the sands of the Hokianga harbour to the Kerikeri Stone store Basin this coast to coast event is challenging but acheivable duathlon.

Top Energy Northern Crossing Four Fun Team Challenge
The Four Fun Team Challenge is designed as a easier option in our coast to coast multisport event. Teams of 2 runners and 2 cyclists make their way across historic trails from the Hokianga to Kerikeri by doing one leg each. The 4 leg course is run 9km, cycle 45 km, cycle 36 km and an easy 8 km run to finish.
